udb is not licensed

I’m running Ubuntu in WSL2 and have just downloaded UndoDB trial.  I’m trying to follow the VS Code tutorial (VS Code is started from WSL2), but I’m having trouble.  When I launch the “(UDB) Build and launch active file”, the build completes successfully, but I get an error “udb is not licensed - udb path: ...”.  If I run udb directly from WSL (not via VS Code), I have no issues.

Note that I first ran UndoDB directly and accepted the license there, not via VS Code.

What can I do to fix this?

Sorry about that. We’ll have a fix in the next release of the extension but in the meantime you can workaround this by putting the `udb` executable on your path. The easiest way to do this is to install it. In a terminal in WSL2:

cd ~/Downloads/UDB-Individual-Evaluation-6.6.0

sudo make install

(You can `sudo make uninstall` later).

That helped, thank you!

This is fixed in version 1.1.1 of the “Time Travel Debug for C/C++” extension.
